Learn for the Future!
Ruby Radhika Donald
FOUNDER, PRESIDENT & CURRICULUM DIRECTOR
I’ve lived in Coralville since 2014, but I visited so often before that when my nephews were born here in 2005, that I feel that it’s been home for many years. I’m a mom, a lifelong learner and a seasoned software engineer, having built many enterprise level computer systems, leading teams of programmers, analysts and project managers for over 16 years.
I left my position as an IT executive at a Fortune 10 company in January of 2018 to launch StairWay5 to provide coding, robotics and technology enrichment and acceleration courses for students in our community.
I strongly believe that a deeper enrichment curriculum in these areas along with 5 key future skills development (Problem Identification, Learning to Learn, Critical Thinking, Solutions Design, Project Management) are key to making our children successful in the technological world. My goal is that every child who comes through our doors step out as confident, curious, enthusiastic lifelong learners and innovators and ultimately that many of them serve and contribute to the growth of our local communities in Iowa.
